Last Updated: 12/23/2025
We at Invoice Maker ("we", "our", or "us") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the "Invoice Maker: Estimate +" mobile application (the "App"), available on iOS devices. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Data You Provide
The App allows you to input and store personal data such as client details, invoice information, signatures, and evidence photos. This data is processed and stored locally on your device. You are responsible for managing and backing up your data. We do not access or store any of this personal data on our servers.
1.2 Data Collected Automatically
We collect certain data automatically when you use the App, including:
- Usage Analytics: We collect anonymized data to help us improve the App’s functionality and user experience. This includes information about how you use the App, such as the features you access and the duration of your use. This data is collected through third-party services like RevenueCat and analytics tools.
- Subscription Status: We collect and process your subscription status via RevenueCat, which helps manage and validate your subscription and access to premium features.
2. Local Storage and Data Management
All sensitive data, such as invoices, client lists, signatures, and evidence photos, are stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not have access to any data stored locally on your device. As the user, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. We recommend that you regularly back up your device to prevent data loss in the event of device failure or other issues.
3. Permissions Requested
3.1 Camera and Photo Library
The App requests permission to access your device's camera and photo library. This permission is necessary for you to take and store photos that can be attached to invoices and other documents. The photos are stored locally on your device and are not shared with us or any third-party service.
3.2 Contacts
The App requests permission to access your device's contacts in order to import client details directly into the App. This data is processed and stored locally on your device, and we do not share or access it remotely. You have control over what data is imported and can manage your contact information within the App.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and validate in-app purchases. RevenueCat helps us handle subscription data, such as subscription status and renewals, but it does not access or store your personal data beyond what is necessary for subscription management. For more information on RevenueCat's privacy practices, please refer to their Privacy Policy.
4.2 Apple/App Store
Apple processes all payments for in-app purchases, including subscriptions. Apple’s privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy, which you can review at Apple's Privacy Policy.
4.3 Payment Links
The App generates deep links for third-party payment platforms, such as Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Stripe, and Zelle, to facilitate payment processing. The App does not handle any payment transactions directly, and we do not store or access your payment details. These payments are processed by the respective third-party payment providers, and you are subject to their privacy practices and terms.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your data with third-party service providers, such as RevenueCat and Apple, solely for the purpose of operating and managing your subscription and in-app purchases, and as described in this Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal data. However, please be aware that no method of transmitting data over the internet or storing data is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any passwords used to access the App.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information as quickly as possible. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, please contact us at [Insert Support Email Here].
8. Your Rights
8.1 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to request access to, deletion of, and the ability to opt-out of the sale of their personal information.
